2008 Communicator Awards |  | |
New York, NY (April 30, 2008) - The winners of The 2008 Communicator Awards have been announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts today. With over 9,000 entries from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals. Massive Productions, Windsor CT, has been honored by the awards receiving Best Commercial Campaign in the US for 2008.
"The commercial campaign produced by Massive Productions, Pita Communications, and Phil Clement pushed the limits of the medium, and the quality of the work submitted was remarkable., noted Linda Day, director of the IAVA. She added, "On behalf of the entire Academy, we are honored to have judged this Campaign and we are proud to honor the best in creativity and execution from the foremost communications professionals in the business."
Massive Productions also received Awards of Distinction for his work on radio campaigns for Ski Sundown and Bernie's Appliances.
The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current IAVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: Cond Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, HBO, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Victoria's Secret, Wired, Yahoo!, and many others.
